Ogni ritratto fotografico mostra allo stesso tempo il soggetto fotografato e il modo in cui il fotografo lo vede. L'attore e l'autore. Il veduto e il vedente. Si sovrappongono due identità. Ho lasciato che la persona davanti a me mi fotografasse per poi, tramite un comune proiettore, proiettare sul suo volto la foto appena scattata. Ho fotografato questa fusione ottica di volti. L'immagine che si forma ha tratti indefiniti, una creatura ibrida, di difficile comprensione.

Each photographic portrait simultaneously shows the photographed subject and the way the photographer sees it. The actor and the author. The seen and the seeing. Two identities overlap. I let the person in front of me photograph me, and then, through a common projector, project the photo just taken on his face. I photographed this optical fusion of faces. The image that is formed has indefinite features, a hybrid creature, difficult to understand.
